Canada 🇨🇦

Teachers, have you ever sat through training videos wondering how this theory can apply in your classroom? Our small-group training sessions with a live instructor are supplemented by instructors visiting your classroom to help you deliver our lesson plans.
If you don't have the time to learn three lessons this year, or already know some of the content, we can customize the training program. Work better in a team? Sign up together with a team from your school or school board, and we will keep you together for training and discussions.

How to make computer science available to all children, when some schools have no computer lab, or their lab is not large enough to accommodate all children? We are developing coding tools so teachers can assign coding homework to be completed on a smartphone, using a free website. Students who learn by watching a teacher or mentor using a laptop can perform the same actions, with the same interface on a smartphone. This is the ShapeCreator Mobile project.

Shape Creator Mobile

Although English is a valuable skill, many children in government schools are taught in their regional language until high school. For them, we have developed multi-lingual ShapeCreator, so they can switch the whole interface into their language and back in English, and their work will be translated back and forth with the interface. We support six regional languages (and many international languages), and can add additional languages as needed. Multi-Language tool

If you are a teacher at the primary, secondary, or post-secondary level, we welcome inquires for new partnerships in teaching, validating new tools, and (for college students) in research. When requesting support, indicate which language(s) you use in teaching.

Nigeria 🇳🇬

Request Coding Classes in Nigeria

In Nigeria, STaBL Foundation partners with schools and communities, including religious and non-profit organizations, to expand access to inclusive and equitable education. Our programs include in-person and virtual coding workshops that equip teachers with essential skills, while supporting students in building confidence and opportunity through technology. Our curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of each partner organization, ensuring that content is practical, culturally relevant, and adaptable to local contexts. By fostering collaboration and creativity, we empower teachers and students to apply coding skills beyond the classroom, opening doors to STEM career pathways, innovation and long-term community growth. We are actively seeking partners interested in teaching, research, and development to help us expand our programs into rural parts of Nigeria and across Africa
