Introduction to Functional Programming in Elm

Children will learn basic coding in Elm, pick a word and start creating a word picture or animation, which we will assemble into reading games for beginning readers.

Class Structure

Each block, a McMaster Start Coding mentor will cover new topics in the first 30 minutes, and children will use the rest of the class to perfect their creations
